Hangover-Free Cocktail for St. Patrick's Day

Mark Thompson READ TIME: 1 MIN.

St. Patrick's Day is here - and, for many people, that means drinking.

Irish or not, each year more than 50% of Americans celebrate the big day with parades, corned beef, and of course, heavy drinking.

Mixologist Alex Ott in NYC, concocted a green Irish cocktail made with Mercy hangover prevention beverage to avoid a hangover the next day.

Made with a proprietary blend of amino acids, anti-oxidants and vitamins - is formulated to replenish key nutrients and jump-start the body's natural defenses, helping stave off dreaded hangover symptoms like headache and nausea.

Consumed during drinking, this naturally flavored and lightly carbonated beverage makes the perfect mixer for party-goers that need to be productive the next day.

THE IRISH FOREST

1/2 oz Irish Whiskey
1 oz Coconut rum (MALIBU)
1/2 oz MIDORI
1 oz pineapple juice
1/2 oz lime juice
1 oz Mercy

Combine all ingredients except the Mercy in a shaker filled with ice, shake vigorously, strain into a ice filled highball glass OR martini glass and top with Mercy.

Garnish with a lime wheel.
