Kimpton Hotels Fights HIV/AIDS with Red Ribbon Campaign

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants continues its support of local HIV and AIDS service organizations across the country with its eighth annual Red Ribbon campaign.

From drag queen bingo to a "heART in Motion" art-filled event, Kimpton will host Red-themed parties in eight cities across the country, beginning on November 28 through World AIDS Day, December 1 - and on through December 6, 2012.

Travelers and locals alike can participate by joining one of the following events. Proceeds from each event will benefit local HIV and AIDS organizations in each city.

  • Jackson 20 at Hotel Monaco Alexandria: "Red Ribbon Dinner" benefiting the Virginia AIDS Ministry on Nov. 28

  • Hotel Monaco Salt Lake City: "8th Annual Red Party" benefiting the Utah AIDS foundation on Nov. 29

  • Summer Salt Pool and Lounge at Palomar San Diego: "heART in Motion" benefiting Mama's Kitchen on Nov. 29

  • Nine Zero Hotel, Boston: "Red Indulgence Party" benefiting Fenway Health on Nov. 30

  • B&O American Brasserie at Hotel Monaco Baltimore: "Red Ribbon Happy Hour" benefiting Chase Brexton Health Services on Dec. 1

  • Zentan at Donovan House Hotel, Washington, DC: "ZENTAN's Red Ribbon Dinner" benefiting the Whitman Walker Clinic on Dec. 1

  • Hotel Monaco Portland: Bingo featuring local drag queens & live auction to benefit Cascade AIDS Project on Dec. 1

  • Central 21 at Hotel Palomar Dallas: "Fourth Annual Red Ribbon Bash" benefiting the Resource Center Dallas on Dec. 6

    At Kimpton hotels, guests can "Join the Fight by Staying the Night" with a package that offers a 15 percent discount and donates $10 per night to Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, one of the nation's leading nonprofit organizations funding local HIV service organizations. To book the "Join the Fight by Staying the Night" package, travelers should use the rate code: "RRC."
