EDGE READ TIME: 2 MIN.

BeBe Zahara Benet -- the very first winner of "RuPaul's Drag Race" -- is ready to bare all in her new show playing at Manhattan's The Triad Theatre later this month. Following her recent critically acclaimed off-Broadway show "Creature", "Reveal" will showcase a more intimate, vulnerable side to the Cameroon-born drag entertainer. Through song and never-before-told stories, the live show will explore the Bebe beneath the colorful wigs and make-up by delving into her fantasies as a child, her relationships with men today, the community and family she has built since being named America's Next Drag SuperStar and how spirituality has helped BeBe Zahara Benet navigate the fame and remain true to her self. Directed by Andrew Neisler and David Mendizabal and produced by Zahara Media in collaboration with Beto Sutter and JB Promotions, Bebe Zahara Benet's one-woman show, "Reveal", takes place Monday, July 21st at 7pm and Thursday, July 24th at 9pm at The Triad (158 W 72nd St). Tickets are available now at www.stage72.com.

"Growing up in Africa, I developed a deep connection with nature and the universe," says Bebe Zahara Benet from the New York City recording studio where she is busy putting the finishing touches on her upcoming album that includes the hit single, "Face", her shimmering ode to glamour. She will unveil some of her new work at "Reveal." "I learned to treasure the oneness in my soul. When all the media frenzy from winning first struck, I was able to find a way out of the madness through my spiritual connection. It helped keep me grounded."

In "Reveal," Benet aims to teach audiences how they, too, can uncover peace in their lives by finding purpose and seeking truth. She's a strong believer that the universe has the power to alter one's destiny.

"We all have an innate sense of spirituality," she confirms. "So many people choose to focus their energy on external nonsense and ignore the internal spirit, failing to realize that life can not be lived to the fullest without having a close connection with one's inner most energy."

This will be Bebe's first time performing at New York's The Triad Theatre. "The Triad is a precious gem that will allow for a more intimate performance," she says. "Fans should prepare for loads of surprises. I will reveal new music, new looks, new stories, and the greatest enigma of them all: me."
