How the Duggar Lesbian House Kiss Helped Break the Molestation Story

And they would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for those meddling lesbians!

In March, it was reported a lesbian couple used the Duggar's home as a backdrop for a photo of the pair kissing while holding their newly obtained marriage certificate. Little did anyone know then, that two-and-a-half-months later, they would be responsible for helping break the story of the year.

According to The Washington Post, while InTouch Weekly's editor won't directly name the publication's sources in the Josh Duggar molestation scandal, Tandra Barnfield, who was half of the lesbian couple who smooched in front of the Duggar's home in March, was instrumental in opening up the story.

Barnfield was contacted by InTouch reporter Melissa Roberto after the photo of her kissing her wife Samantha Muzny in front of the Duggar's home near Springdale, Ark. went viral. During her conversation with Roberto, Barnfield, who has family in Springfield, told the reporter about the now infamous police report that documents the multiple incidences of child molestation committed by Josh Duggar.

"It wasn't like it was a rumor to us," Barnfield said in an interview. "We knew all about it It wasn't hard to get it. You just had to know where to look."

The Post reports that following the tip from Barnfield, In Touch's editor David Perel sent two reporters down to Springdale to contact lawyers who advised them on how to obtain the police reports through a Freedom of Information Act request.
