Now Aurora is all grown up and is the queen of her kingdom, which is populated by all the forest's magical creatures.

Her fairy godmother, Maleficent, has kept her safe, and Aurora has opened her heart to marriage with Phillip. Once they wed, their two kingdoms will be one, but not if Phillip's mother (played by Michelle Pfeiffer) has her way! "Maleficent: Mistress of Evil" expands on the story within the story, building on the origins of the fairy folk and the magic of nature when the Mistress of Evil discovers she's not so alone in the world, and the real threat that humans can pose in their distrust and disdain for what is different. With Aurora's marriage to Phillip an inevitability, will Maleficent convince of the true evil in their midsts before it's too late?
