Only in Florida: Naked Man Sleeps on Dog Beds in CVS

One Florida drug store has gone to the dogs.

A Florida man was arrested inside a CVS after he stripped naked, obtained three doggy beds and attempted to turn the store's restroom into a nude bed and breakfast.

According to a police report obtained by The Smoking Gun, Jeremiah Patterson, 22, entered the CVS Pharmacy in Lutz, Florida, on December 30 and headed to the men's restroom at the rear of the store where he proceeded to remove all of his clothes.

Patterson then left the restroom, entered the store and headed to the aisle with the pet supplies where he allegedly started picking out dog beds.

After narrowing his selection down to three, Patterson then took the dog beds back to the men's room where he arranged them on the floor before curling up in them - still naked.

After a quick nap, Patterson was awakened by officers from the Pasco County Police Department, who arrested him.

In addition to a count of lewd and lascivious exhibition, Patterson was also charged with burglary since the store said it could no longer sell the gently used doggy beds.

Online jail records note that Patterson, who has two prior arrests, is being held at Pasco County Jail on more than $10,000 bail.
